Cactus Wren Little League received a $1,000 grant from the D-backs Give Back program with the Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation. Our league president, Jason Button, received the check on the field before the May 27th game vs. the Dodgers.
The Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation is devoted to youth sports and are committed to helping grow baseball and softball leagues in Arizona. During the 2022 season, the D-backs Give Back Play Ball Fund, supported by Chase, will support the outstanding efforts of Arizona's dedicated parents, mentors and coaches to expand the game of baseball and softball by donating $60,000 to youth sports leagues, and CWLL was lucky enough to be an early recipient.
